Program Overview

CITY101 is a program created by We Are the Next with a goal to provide teens with the tools they need to become advocates for their community.  The CITY101 course includes several sessions covering subjects ranging from arts + culture to community organizing. For each session students attend, they earn the badge associated with that session! Students who attend 75% or more of the sessions earn a certificate acknowledging their completion in the course.

Courses are offered for 4 weeks or 8 weeks depending on the preference of our education partners. We Are the Next provides the course curriculum, staff to oversee and facilitate sessions, experts from the community to work with the students, and all materials needed.

We are currently seeking partners for CITY101 workshops in the 2017/18 school year. If you are interested in providing a course for your students, please contact our team for more information!
