Katie Rispoli Keaotamai
Since founding We Are the Next in 2014, Katie has led the organization to work with local, national, and global agencies. She began working in construction in 2012 where she coordinated renovations in historic buildings and in 2015 graduated from USC with a Master of Heritage Conservation degree and a certificate in Nonprofit Management and Public Policy. Katie's experiences in development demonstrated the opacity in the way our cities are built and governed, and inspired her to advocate for an environment where residents of all ages are informed, vocal, and engaged with their surroundings. Katie oversees all operations, seeks funds and manages grants awarded to We Are the Next, collaborates and plans with our community partners, and facilitates youth and civic programming.
